Holiday Specials

The whole team at Property Prosperity firmly believes one of the best gifts you can give your loved ones, acquaintances or even yourself, is the gift of education. We are delighted at the stories we receive daily by email, fax, letter and phone, telling us of successes clients have had with the products we make available. In keeping with our Holiday Specials tradition, this year we are offering incentives on our three most popular educational items.

Our acclaimed real estate analysis software REAP has had another round of improvements and enhancements (see next item). The present version 3.6 is a free upgrade to existing version 3 users. It normally retails at US$495.

In addition, our latest product is The Great Real Estate Investment Adventure Course (GREIA), a 10-audio CD, 1 CD-ROM, and 100 page manual kit. It shows you how you can apply what my Las Vegas investment partner Gene Burns and I achieved this year in Las Vegas, namely buying one house a week for an entire year (actually, we cheated and sometimes bought more than one house a week, enabling us to fill our self-imposed quota of 52 homes in just under 10 months).

At present, Gene and I are scaling back our seminars in Las Vegas in order to focus on our next challenge. However, owing to overwhelming demand, we have agreed to run one more Deal of the Decade weekend at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas during the last weekend of March, 2004 (March 27 and 28). The seminar fee is normally $3,995, and attracts participants from all parts of the world.

As our Holiday Specials this year, we are offering two great deals. First, a REAP and GREIA pack for $995 (a saving of $195 or 20%). Secondly, we are offering the Deal of the Decade weekend for $2,995, a saving of $1,000.

These specials are available until the end of the year. Please note that on our on-line order form, the standard prices will show, but until December 31st, 2003, the discounts will automatically apply and you will be charged the lesser amounts. So, you have until the end of the year to make use of these specials. This means if you buy all three, you can get REAP, the GREIA course, and our weekend event for the same price as you would normally pay for the weekend alone.

REAP Version 3.6 has Arrived

We are pleased to announce the latest version of our Real Estate Acquisition Program Software, REAP 3.6, is now available.

We have taken your suggestions, as well as some of our own, and the result is the new, best-yet version of our acclaimed Real Estate Acquisition Program. Version 3.6 encompasses more features and functionality than the previous version, including:

  • Reports now able to be saved as PDF files (this was a frequently-requested feature!)
  • Easier search through previously entered properties
  • Ability to click from report to report instead of through a main menu
  • Easier entry of data into columns

If you are currently a REAP version 3.x user, the updated version is available to you immediately, free of charge. Simply open your REAP program and select the Live Update feature from the Main Menu. The program will walk you through three easy steps in the upgrade process. Remember, with REAP, when you download the upgrade, you do not have to restart REAP, let alone restart your computer. All your REAP data will remain intact, too.

If you are currently running REAP version 2.0, you may purchase the upgrade to REAP 3 via our website, (www.DolfdeRoos.com), for US $100.00. This may be done on the On-Line Order Page, (accessible by selecting "Click Here to Order" under any product).

If you are running one of our previous software programs and are interested in purchasing REAP for a discounted cost, please call into our office at 602-331-8882.

For further information on the REAP software program, including first time purchases, please see our website at www.DolfdeRoos.com under the Software section.

Credit Counseling Services; A Word of Caution

You bought the new car, took the vacation you'd always dreamed of, bought too many holiday gifts, or simply had a run of unexpected financial expenditures and now you're in debt and sinking fast. Fear not; thankfully there are organizations in place for this very situation, non-profit organizations no less.

Credit Counseling Organizations are designed to educate consumers on saving and spending money, as well as offering assistance to repay debt and repair credit. As they are non-profit organizations they are affordable and trustworthy, right? Not necessarily...

While the original concept behind credit counseling organizations was to educate consumers through classes and training materials as well as assisting in consolidating debt and regaining good credit rating, things have changed. More and more fees are being attached to the organizations' services. And while traditional organizations met face-to-face with creditors to review their specific financial situation, often times these transactions are now handled over the phone or internet, with operators reading from a script and spending the bare minimum amount of time with the individual consumer. Today's customers are often being overcharged and underserved.

As for the non-profit label, sad to say, many of the "new" organizations are even using that to their advantage. Frequently the organizations exploit the title of "non-profit" to exempt their companies from scrutiny under consumer-protection laws, while not complying with set standards for true non-profit organizations.

In summary, individuals may end up in situations where their debt is mounting as they are charged exorbitant fees for assistance in paying off their creditors, while receiving little or no education on how to better handle their finances in the future. In short, those in need often find themselves worse off after seeking help from the "quick-fix" organizations.

That is why we suggest using a service recommended by someone you know over a service chosen at random. More importantly, however, organize your life so that you never have to deal with these sorts of organizations. Learn how to budget - if you cannot budget for your life, how will you become a real estate tycoon?

Debt is a serious problem for an increasing number of consumers worldwide, but it doesn't have to cripple you financially. Take the steps to protect yourself, then seek the assistance you need to regain your good credit and erase your debt. Remember, not all debt is bad debt, as debt secured against well-located real estate can be very good debt! So focus on the debt that works for us and not against us - Property Investment!

Happy Holidays

I would like to take this opportunity to send you and your loved ones my warmest wishes during this special time of year. I sincerely hope the holiday season finds you well and brings health and prosperity to all your loved ones throughout the year to come. Let's make it our best year yet friends!

Take care and remember, The Deal of the Decade comes along about once a week.

Successful investing,
